bit of a tricky game for arsenal this eve, but I would still bet on us going through, knowing how spurs seem to self destruct at this sort of stage year after year.

I reckon you’re golden mate – Spurs seem to have a mental block when it comes to Arsenal. I don’t think they believe they can beat you, and if I’m not mistaken there’s actually no one left in the current Spurs team who have ever actually experienced victory over Arsenal. They have attacking talent to burn and are long, long overdue a derby win, but I’d still have my money on the Arse to march on to Wembley.

Smaller nations don't get to the World Cup as a rule.
Well, that could be a reason for spending money on it. :p

Nah, but honestly, they're doing it the wrong way around. Instead of building a couple of hundred small arenas with basic facilities that fit the economy of places like Samoa, Antigua, etc., they make these huge complexes which basically will only benefit the top echelon of 30-40 football players.

Arsenal duo face clash questions

Bendtner also had a run in with captain William Gallas, the two were seen pushing and shoving each other prior to a corner being taken. Not good to see.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insisted: "I did not know anything about it. I didn't see it." Does he seen anything? The guy even had the audacity to claim the scoreline flattered Spurs and the game was far closer than the end result reflected.

tbh its not the first time this thing has happened, hopefully it can be smoother over, I remember back in the days of Hartson/Merson/Wright there were a few on pitch incidents between them, pretty stupid.

What a way to break the jinx - well done the Spurs. I'm just glad I didn't make any stupid predictions about their inability to beat Arsenal and how the Gooners would get up.

Hopefully they're all goaled out after last night and have nothing left for the trip to Old Trafford on Sunday...

Thought I had stepped into bizzaro world or something, but not

Man City striker Rolando Bianchi will sign for Tornino on loan.
