Kulasekera is related to some Sri Lanka Politician isn't he as I recall ? Some MP down South ..... That's why the guy gets picked for tours like England, Australia, so he can have a good holliday with little Cricket being on the sidelines...:laugh:

I think that India should play Praveen Kumar in this ODI series. His agressive batting and swing bowling make him a necessity. Although he may not quite have the pace to succeed at Test level yet, he will certainly be a handy ODI bowler. Amongst his Test performances, I need not remind people that RP Singh has performed poorly recently in ODIs, as has Sreesanth. I am a fan of separating performances in the three separate games and consequently RP Singh and, to a lesser extent Sreesanth should both be on short leashes in the team if they get selected for the earlier ODIs.

One of our clients has a corporate box to the Brisbane game. Can't wait, even though ODI cricket is a bit of toss. I just find the games so forgettable. At least Brisbanites don't have to suffer through a Katich vigil this year. I think he single-handedly turned many locals off ODI's for life, with his knock here a couple of years ago in a final.

Would've thought under Ranatunga's stewardship of SL Cricket, guys like Kulaskera would not have got picked...

Yeah I remember that Katich innings in the tri-series final at the Gabba, mate was there, said the crowd were hurling heaps of abuse at Katich to get out already because they were desperate to see Symonds :laugh:
