So can't they launch a seperate news and sports channels?Nothing must ever interrupt Channel 9 news or all the old-age pensioners ring in and complain...
AWTA. Why hasn't he been sacked, I 'mean seriously?****, Healy is dire:
"He hits a beautiful cover drive and they're all saying 'ooooo, we've got him'."
Actually, Heals, if you'd open your ****ing eyes, you'd see the shot was more than a little aerial.
Hahahaha. Why? Johnson can hold a bat, and so can Clark...they just need to hang around while Clarke destroys us.
caught off bat/pad at silly point...Was Lee out LBW or caught?
I think he was blasted for keeping them on when they weren't effective. Sehwag got wicket in his the first over...and in the second.Amusing how nobody is criticising Kumble for giving Sehwag a ball, yet Ponting was blasted for giving Clarke & Symonds a trundle...
Well they are not going to say something, given that Sehwag picked up two wickets.Amusing how nobody is criticising Kumble for giving Sehwag a ball, yet Ponting was blasted for giving Clarke & Symonds a trundle...
Not it is FTA TV.So can't they launch a seperate news and sports channels?
Haha, nothing to lose for me, so sure.Hahahaha.
You can choose my av for a lifetime if we win here.
Gees, unluckyNothing must ever interrupt Channel 9 news or all the old-age pensioners ring in and complain...
So you're saying he was right!?Symonds finally gets one to go against him. The amount of luck he was having over the series has been ridiculous. I remember him saying to the press after that dreadful decision made against Ishant Sharma in Sydney that 'Oh yeah, these things happen in cricket and I'd like to retain the human element of the game' and 'These things have a habit of evening themselves out over time'. Well put Roy, I guess things do even themselves out over time.
I agree he kept them on for too long, but there were quite a few who went off because he brought Clarke on and not Tait.I think he was blasted for keeping them on when they weren't effective. Sehwag got wicket in his the first over...and in the second.
But I don't think Ponting did too badly tbh.
Heh, damned with faint praise eh?Was Lee out LBW or caught?
Looks like Symonds got one back this time...he's still a few up though.
Fortunately, we're not in the habit of getting umpires removed
Well done India, you've given us a decent touch up!
See above, there were people who upped him for bringing them on in the first place ahead of Tait & Lee, who had bowled a mammoth spell earlier. I said it myself at the time, that he kept them on for too long, but thats not my point. He did the right thing imo by giving them ago, just as Kumble has done with Sehwag, yet got hammered for it.Clarke and Symonds simply allowed the Indian batsmen to settle down and play themselves in. Ponting kept going with them and that's what he was blasted for. Sehwag came in and got big breakthroughs. Spot the difference?
Actually, India should be strongly praised they've played really well. I thought someone had better play the part where everything else gets blamed though...otherwise it wouldn't fit in well with the series theme so farHeh, damned with faint praise eh?
Agreed that there aren't any demons in the deck. The fact that it looks like we might get 4 middling scores from two strong batting lineups is a testament to how good the bowlers have done in this match.the indians as i predicted, bowled very well and our batsmen never really look comfortable
nothing wrong with the pitch at all.. in fact its a very good day 4 wicket for batsmen..
If they do, I'll look a little silly!Australia can win this still, it's mainly on Clarke. India need to keep the pressure up and get that wicket...Clarke is batting magnificently.
Agreed. It's been a sublime exhibition of swing bowling.Agreed that there aren't any demons in the deck. The fact that it looks like we might get 4 middling scores from two strong batting lineups is a testament to how good the bowlers have done in this match.
