Yeah, tbf, Hayden didn't have a case for ODI selection pre-last year's CB series and was the right call at the time to question his selection (I think most did), though not in hindsight, obviously.

Seen some worse with respect to Hussey and KP though.

Ponting isn't bad to watch IMO, but he's nothing particularly special a lot of the time; I'm not really big on leg-side play and he plays a bit away from his body on drives through the off. If anyone could ever look elegant playing on the back foot, though, he does.

"Prettiness" is all personal opinion though, really. What can't be denied is his ability as a batsman.
