That Jaques boundary off the last ball was a lot riskier than I first thought. It wasn't all that short he got under it to hit it up.

I stuck by Hayden and Laxman as test players, but I confess to thinking his ODI career was over a few times during that CB Series before the World Cup. I also thought Clark would be decidedly average to poor in test cricket before he was picked, and I even thought he'd struggle a bit (comparatively, at least) this summer with the added responsibility. Posting lots always lends to the odd huge blunder.
