Please stop SST, we (the mod team) would like this thread to get back on track to the high standard of cricket discussion that has IMO, made this the best cricket forum going around over the past few years and these comments really don't help.

It's amazing how timely these timely umpiring "blunders are. In the previous Test Australia could very well have been done under 250 on a batting beauty. Their last established batsmen nicks one that's heard around the world...YET THE UMPIRE didn't hear it. This decision changes the Test Match and history(no way Australia ties the record had Symonds been given out).

In India's 2nd innings Dravid and Ganguly are cruising with 7 wickets in hand and a session to go. Wicket hasn't fallen in a looong time. Yet all of a sudden one of the greatest players and blockers of all time is given out when his bat's nowhere close to the ball. This happens just when Australia was losing hope of victory. That 1 decision changed the entire course of the innings.

Same thing happens today. SRT and Dravid are cruising; India in great position for a big 1st innings score and Tendulkar in particular is in dangerous mood. Australians looking dull on the field. And what happens? Well, we just saw it and it could prove to be another Test Match changer.
