Australian Open draws are done at 11am today, interesting thing in the mens draw for mine is if Djokovic gets drawn on Federer or Nadal's side, you'd think if hes on Nadal's half it should be a Djokovic v Federer final but if hes with feds then anyone could make the final from the bottom half...

Had to happen, Djokovic drawn in the same half as Federer.
In fact Djokovic had a horror draw and his quarter is by far the hardest, in that section there is Djokovic, Hewitt, Nalbandian, Safin, Ferrer, Baghdatis, Kiefer, Johnasson and Ferrero. And whoever gets through that section is rewarded with a semi final against Federer.

went out 2nd round to an Indian guy named Prakash Amritraj, ranked 278 in the world. got done pretty easy.

Still, fair effort to come back like he did to win his match Wednesday.

Stuff me that section of the draw is nasty, Safin (If he doesn't fall in the 1st or 2nd round) or Djokovic to play Federer).

Given Nadals crap form, Roddick would probably be the favourite to go through from the other half of the draw imo. Has been playing well at Kooyong.

Nadal is falling apart, his injuries are killing him, his ball striking is as good as ever, but he in the aussie heat he wont last four rounds imo. His draw is fairly easy but if someone in the early rounds can take him to five sets he'll be cannon fodder for a good player in the round of 16 or quarters.

Has a winnable first round against HT Lee in Melbourne, I think he'll take out Gonzo 2nd round too...

Would be Immense if he could make it to the 3rd round, It'll be tough though.

if he got past Gonzo the draw really opens up then, like most players though how will he go with the heat? Because of his serve a lot of points in his matches will be short, so that works out in his advantage.

Robredo in early trouble in his match. Lost the 1st set, and his opening service game in the 2nd. Jelena Jankovic is even more trouble though, was absolutely pasted in her opening set 6-2 against a 17y/o from Austria.

EDIT: It seems the 17y/o from Austria is no slouch, she was ranked as high as 9th last year, currently 39th, Tamira Paszek is her name. Tricky first round match for Jelena.

im pretty sure in the tipping comp I tipped Robredo to lose, looks good from here, Zverev is pretty solid and thought he'd do ok, didnt think he'd wallop him in the first two sets though...
