I guess it will just be the first to win on their own serve. This sort of thing frustrates the hell out of me.

AWTA, don't really like Jankovic that much. Plus i love it when the underdog wins in tennis. This is turning into an epic though.

Jankovic won. Which is good because as much as Paszek is busty and Jankovic's face is meh, i'd still rather watch Jankovic.

Last few years, with the Aus Open, it's been diabolical how many unknowns have made it through to the last 16 or the quarters. A total lack of seeded players.

The Jankovic-Paszek match typifies why women's tennis, aside from the eye-candy perspective, is a total insult to the spectator. I'm so sick of these supposed world-class players who can't actually serve to save their life. If you're top 10 in the world and you get broken by an unseeded opponent five times in a row, you're a frigging muppet and a joke. Always seems to be the way with the women's field - there are one, maybe two or three, players who are actually good, and then you have about 30 Eastern European clones who have big two-handed groundstrokes and absolutely no serve, and are all roughly equally dire. Thank God for the Williams sisters - at least they break the mould (actually Serena squashes it into itsy-bitsy pieces).

Just watch men's tennis instead. Easier to flog to than the Williams sisters as well.

Haha yep. Basically the reason I support Henin (and dislike Lindsay Davenport/Jalena Jankovic, because both have big 2 handed groundstrokes, and neither do much for you from the eye-candy perspective).

^^ Well, you're right in the sense that, LIKE WHEN I'M WATCHING MEN'S TENNIS, when I'm watching the Williams' I'm not thinking about having a flog, unlike most other women's matches...

My wife was just bagging me for saying Sharapova's opponent looks like a man, but then said:
"Wow, you're right. When I saw her before it was from a more flattering angle - she was in a shadow, behind a wall"
