Donovan 3-0-13-0
Mcmillan* 28 (20 balls)
Gray 62 (47 balls)
Last Wicket: Mcinally c. Singh b. Shackleton 1 (FOW: 14/3)

Shackleton, with a wage of about 2k, removed Kerr, Mcinally and Bhutia within about 2 overs :@ Thankfully, Gray has played a fine innings and Mcmillan is having a good day. Need these two to see the innings out though.

Sold Janes (23yo exceptional/exquisite/comp bat) for 9.1m and just bought this guy for 7.8m:

Andrew Petrus (1063330)

RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A steady player with mediocre leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Asterix XI
Nationality: Australia
Age: 19 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 64,842 (+3104)
Wages: £7,014 p/w
Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: competent
Batting: wonderful Concentration: remarkable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: superb

His stamina makes him not much worse in skill than Janes, and he's much younger. Will be gun within a season or so.

If i had another over, i would say i should win. Cant see how Gravey can get 69 and Hocking and Hiller failed. Oh well.

MOTM: Gray (83* & 3 ct's)

Pretty lucky there, having been 3/14 and only these two left. Both played incredibly well. I played a full-strength batting lineup but rested Mulholland & Mullis. Mulholland now has sublime PFL and Mullis will be nearly energetic :D It also appears they GFI'd :-O Could explain a bit. Solid ratings

:-O Not bad - could also be a back-up keeper if you need to rest Ashton. What nets will he get?

Decent TIE ratings, especially seeing im a bowler down. Lost by 20 runs in the end, cant complain too much, a PAN probably would have given me the win.

BT20 fixtures are up. I got a Div 3 team called Ironside Crusaders -

Ironside Crusaders
Top Order: quality
Middle Order: quality
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: exceptional
Spin Bowling: superb
Fielding: competent

2-3 gun bats, 2 gun bowlers. Could be tricky. But let me say this - Anchormen will not so easily concede the first official, competitive game at the Odeon *** Panther Dome, and the fans will be baying for blood.

Argh, wtf. Cameron got a Div 5 team called "fartland". Ffs. There is no justice in this world.

Robertinho

Cameron to reach the final with only playing Div V teams imo.
Wouldn't be surprised. Also noticed these -

Roger Mcmillan - 22 yo, BT Rating=135,488
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A destructive player with respectable leadership skills and proficient experience.

Marvin Gray - 23 yo, BT Rating=117,266
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, strong batting form, strong bowling form, energetic
A defensive player with abysmal leadership skills and superb experience.

Not bad.

Nice buy, how many nets will you give him?

Adamc

Cricketer Of The Year
I've got three nets to spare at the moment, so I'll probably give him two bat, one field. Planning on getting one or two more trainees though so he'll probably end up with two nets.

Mahindinho

I managed to draw a Div IV side, and not an especially good one either. Rested Sandwith and two main bowlers, and am 85/0 after 11, chasing a respectable 147/3. RRR 7.00, so should be straightforward enough. Ideally I'd like to see a wicket so Reed gets to gome in and knock the runs off quickly.

Ironside Crusaders 8/74 from 20 overs

That takes me through to the last 64, with this side being my only really competitive opponent. It's going to get veeery tough now. OK ratings on a PAN

Obviously a good side, with 2-3 gun batsmen (one with wages of 36k). If I can get one or two cheaply, and my batsmen can take advantage of the fact that none of his bowlers are over wonderful, then I'll be in with a shot. Tough game, but could easily be worse.

Welcome to The Odeon *** Panther Dome for the match between Anchormen and Magical Ponies.

We can tell you that Anchormen won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking quite cracked! A field day for the seam bowlers I would reckon on this sunny day.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary...

Massive game against Cameron here, the first OD game at the Odeon *** Panther Dome, and the inaugural Canning-Mcmillan Trophy fixture.

End of Over 10: 34-1, runrate=3.40
Mulholland 5-0-11-0
Burger* 20 (38 balls)
Terry 2 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Farmer b. Mullis 10 (FOW: 28/1)

Cameron's batsmen now have 10 overs of nothin' but Mcmillan & Ralph, so it could be an interesting period...
