Hi, won my first two BT20 matches against Div.Vi minnows in crushing style with a 2nd XI, but the third one looks as though it'll b touch and go against another tidy Div.III side.

What I can't find anywhere, in any of the bulletins, is whether it's the top one or two teams which qualify from each group - Does anyone know for definite which it is? The thing is, if only the top team goes through, then I'll GFI, but I don't really want to GFI because my key players are knackered already.

Cheers, Trev

Just the first-placed team I would believe. If you look at the group page, there's a division line after first. Also, it would make sense considering the length of the tournament. :)

Not much in pops this week. Except for Fordham passing the 20K BTR mark.

The Sultans 134/10 (18.4)
Impey 3.4-0-24-5

BEST Indies 135/2 (15.1)
Becconsall 56 off 38

2 from 2 now and will be expecting a win tomorrow on TIE.

Playing a game to get past this stage I presume (we're both undefeated ater 2):

Scored 171/4 (Hutchison 65; Nkosinathi 55*)

Was a bit worried whether this would be enough, however Lock took 2 wickets with the first two balls of the game to put us in a decent position after 1 over - they're 3/2. They still have a couple of batsmen who aren't bad though.

End of Over 8: 68-3, runrate=8.50, reqrunrate=8.67 (171-4)
Wotton 1-0-5-0
Byrne* 22 (22 balls)
Hitish 7 (4 balls)

Take another wicket you bastards!

Playing for second place at the moment. Close game, they got 198 without losing a wicket, and I'm 1/105 after 9 overs.

End of Over 9: 82-3, runrate=9.11, reqrunrate=8.18 (171-4)
Fahy 1-0-14-0
Hitish* 13 (7 balls)
Byrne 30 (25 balls)

Last Wicket: Buxton b. Chinnery 33 (FOW: 58/3)

It's times like these you ask yourself why you decided to play the spinner who hasn't had a game for ages and isn't really that good.

Fahy went for 45 off 4 overs and we lost...I wish I hadn't changed the team at the last moment and put him in!

I got a bye. Didn't play anyone with a BTR over 10k in my group games so PFL is looking pretty good at the moment.
