HAHAHAHA they would be all over him in the press over there, what other headlines and names have they given him?? would love to know!!!Bucknor should be thrown out..........Indian newspapers have already given him the title " BLIND IN WHITE"

Actually while watching it, I was wondering just how the LBW was given for Dravid, then looked at the text banner which said c. Gilchrist!
might have thought that at the time it was given but it's been a while since the decision was given and i doubt if vic would make such a mistake...

jesus bucknor absolutely loves symonds, dravid dismissal and didnt wanna give Symonds out at all in the first innings, gotta feel for india as he has basically given the game away!! umpires shouldnt be having this much of an impact in the outcome of a test match!! its ridiculous!!

I won't defend Bucknor at present, as clearly he needs to be dropped from the International Panel immediately.
But I agree with Richard that he had actually umpired to a pretty good standard through the last couple of years. I certainly remember that there was a thread or two (and plenty of comments in the "official thread") as to his consistently high level umpiring during the last Ashes series.

Taufel is by far the best umpire in the world, absolutely no doubt about it, and the guy cant umpire in Australia!!!
What a joke, hes got to umpire bloody joke SA vs WI matches where noone shows up.
Watch the Aus vs India series then watch the SA vs WI series, its like a completely different event.
Commentators in SA are so dull when they actually say something. Or they just read out text messages on air where someone is wondering why a batsman isnt given out when a ball is pitching a metre outside leg

If I was supporting the Aussie team, I would rather have Bucknor than even Ponting's mum to umpire.

bucknor has been finished for years IMO,
never liked him doing any cricket i have seen on the tv, and have said for ages that he is not a good umpire.
