Hopefully but only for an Englishmen. None of this Manuel Almunia bollocks, who was Christened by the media as Manuel from Fawlty Towers not so longer but now his got the Gazza HIV positive look his suddenly a brilliant stopper.
Your post makes absolutely no sense. I thought it was '...but now he has got..' instead of 'his'.

Compared to Paul Robinson who has been way off this season and Scott 'i fluffed up my England chance' Carson he's the best option..
Bit harsh to say that Carson has messed up his England chances based on his woeful debut performance. Heard once the legendary Peter Shilton made a huge blunder early in his career & ended up being one of the best England have have produced not saying Carson will become a great but won't write him off so quickly. Since the WC along with James has been England best performing keeper.

The others like Ben Foster/David James/Chris Kirkland are out mainly due to being not good enough or too old.
Yea James is too old now, but i wouldn't agree the other two aren't good enough, potentially Kirkland is sitll the best keeper in the land but given he is at Wigan with that woeful defense conceding so much goals it wouldn't have helped his progression much, if his career was plagued with so much injuries could have well & been Liverpool's number 1 today. Foster is out injured & but from what i've seen of the kid i think he has all the tools to be a really good keeper & the real replacement for Seaman.

Only other person i'd want to see given a go is Rob Green, but even then his class is questionable.
Well haven't or heard nor seen too many blunders by Green over the past two season, he seems to haven been doing a solid job form West Ham worth a try no doubt. But as i said personally i think Foster is the best option, but with Almunia gradually improving if by next season when he qualifies he game is at another level it will be hard to look past him.

For Juande Ramos - buy a new back four.
They're just horrible, aren't they? Really, really poor. Dawson was once touted as an England chance too, scarily enough. Possibly even played, but couldn't swear to that.

Think it's fair to say they're now actually worse than useless, because they've started to actively get in each other's way.

Heartbreaking, obv.

Can't be Foster as he's not playing regular first team football though.
Yea but as i said he's injured now. But i like the look of him, good height, solidly built & is probably the only English keeper in the league that looks confident againts set-pieces (corners especially). Plus with him @ United & likely to be the number 1 when VDS goes playing with such a solid defense in front of him will be great for him.

Villa should have scored four or five today, comfortably. And that's even without the usual Robinson foul-ups which didn't happen today, miraculously.

If Berbatov goes it's game over as far as a UEFA Cup place is concerned this season I reckon.

Grammar Nazis exist because of the fact that noone can use basic grammar anymore. The amount of people that get their/they're/there, your/you're, he's/his wrong is staggering.
But given everyone knows what they're trying to say it doesn't really matter with the first two. He's/his is admittedly annoying, but generally it's a nothing issue.

Course it matters, it changes the meaning of the sentence and it's not like someone's tried to spell a hard word and gotten it slightly wrong. It's also certainly not a nothing issue.

Yes for once I agree with you. Foster impressed me immensely at Watford last season, he was under immense pressure in just about every game, had more to do than any other keeper in the league, and made less ****-ups. Only one I can remember was the obvious Robinson one, but other than that, nothing - really solid keeper, he seemed.

Yeah but given you can work out what they're trying to say it doesn't change the meaning of the sentence because you use a bit of common sense.
