Australia's next ODI spinner

Basically, Hauritz has worked out a form of bowling on very flat decks, rather than making himself an aggressive spinner. Seeing as he's playing a fair few home games on very small grounds and flat decks, it's somewhat understandable.

Yes. Mad that they allow First-Class and List-A-OD cricket to be played there, completely ruins bowlers' careers playing there these days.
It had noticably more life this year... because Justin Langer told Frosty (the groundsman) to pull his finger out. Cullen probably was disadvantaged by the 2006 pitch but he still wasn't very impressive, and didn't do anything away from Taunton either.

I think this is the route we'll end up going down. The wicket taking capability of such an attack is quite mouth-watering really...Although there are plenty of times when spinners come in handy in OD cricket...
agreed....you need spinners in OD cricket....there will be occasions when the aussie attack will look rather ordinary without a spinner. With that said...these occasions will be very very very rare!!
