***Official*** England in Sri Lanka

Was disappointed that Vaas missed out on his second Test hundred....but he is cashing it in here....

What a session for Lankans! Mahela notching up 213*(411) and a cameo from Vaas 90(133).

Then SL seamers have struck and Dilshan took his revenge in a form of run out. That ball from Malinga to Pietersen was a peach! Rarely see Lankan fast man delivering such a ball.

From Cricinfo:

"Welcome back. Will here, ready to take you through the next session - which should be just enough time for Sri Lanka to take the final 16 wickets."

I think this will be one occasion where Murali will not be bowling in an innings....
6/33 now

And wonder if it ever happened before....

And us BlackCap fans are complaining that NZ are dire

Even Muralitharan hasn't had a bowl yet, imagine the carnage if he does

I'd heard about day 3, but not day 4. If you're right, then I'll concede that even England might struggle to be dismissed twice on day 5.
That was tempting fate, wasn't it. If the weather relents, you can easily see us being dismissed twice within 90 overs now. Jellyfish, the lot of them.

Nah, you were spot-on.
This really is uninspiring stuff. tbh I think SL have enough on the board to set up a comfortable win - possibly by an innings, but the game's just meandering on.
Surprising to see as much play today as there has been.

I've got to do a report having seen sod-all thanks to staying out until 2:30 last night. 8-) I'd banked on the rain, it so often lets me down. EDIT: ah, we see the wickets shown now, thank Good for that. Brilliant bowling from Vaas to get Vaughan. :)
