Birdy's Boys: 74 (30.1) Westwood 5/10 (6.1), Woods 2/4 (9), Lucas 2/29 (10)
The Heath CC: 406/0 (58) Grant 215* (174), Bartlett 178* (178)
Birdy's Boys: 39/2 (21) Woods 1/9 (9), Lucas 1/22 (9)

Should wrap this up early tomorrow. Had Birdy's Boys at 37/9 in their first innings but an irritating last wicket partnership doubled their score. Good performance from Westwood though. Grant and Bartlett blasted their way to the declaration target, with Grant's innings (featuring fifteen 4's and eight 6's) being the first FC double century for The Heath CC. Took another couple of wickets before the close but their batsmen are putting up a bit more of a fight this time round.

50 runs tomorrow, then bowl them out for the innings win. Which will put me 23 points ahead of the competition with a game to play.

Well, it looks like I'm talkin' to myself!

Ended up bowling them out for 192, as Brooker cleaned 'em up to finish with 20-8-46-6. The quicker Hirst finished wicketless, which bodes well for my fragile batting lineup.

I'm happy with that -- 3 welcome bonus points, and I'll be hoping to grab a few more with the bat.

In reply, I'm 13/0 at tea -- McGregor's managed 13 from 10 balls, and Perry just 0 from 14!
Haha, I was watching it for a bit. You're well poised now, on 2/169.

We're 4/352 overnight, Bhutia 162*, Kerr 80 and Gray 35*, having bowled them out for 63, Mulholland 5/1 and Ralph 5/15. Just going to get full batting points then bowl them out as quickly as possible.

OK, well I'll list him next Wednesday if you can wait that long. Doesn't really bother me if you can't, just that I don't want to stuff up my title hopes by being an allrounder short in the last match of the season.

I just remembered i forgot to set the declaration target, it was at 400, so i guess it will go to just past the follow on target?
