Really suprised I managed to bowl them out for a low score in their 1st innings especially when I rested my two best bowlers. Just need to break this partnership.

337/3, after Sandwith and Reed put on 280 for the third wicket.

I've set a low declaration target -- just 360 -- to restrict Rickmansworth's bonus points. Hopefully a first innings lead of 170 will be enough. If I manage to lose this, I'll be gutted, and there'll be no-one to blame but myself!

UPDATE: Looks like I jinxed it! Sandwith stumped for 159, score 341/4 -- can my last two batsmen last out the 20 runs required for max points?

Declared my 2nd innings overnight, setting them a target of a little over 400. I dismissed them for 250 in the first innings, and will be looking to do so again.

Just won my FC against the first placed team. There's only ten points between the top 3 teams(me being third). But both of the teams above me have fairly easy matches next week, however one of the teams is fairly inactive so there's a chance that I could get 2nd place. I want that prize money. Bidding on a 30 resp/resp batsmen at the moment for a bit of filler for my team next season. I'm hoping to have about $3mil in the bank by the beginning of next season, and my last 3 games are at home, so hopefully I'll have that.

My trainees will all have proficient primaries by the start of the next season too, barring the keeper, he won't pop until about 4 weeks in, then I'll buy another trainee bowler. I should probably get a reserve keeper too.

Easy FC win this week; failed to stretch it out to 3 days though, despite upping the declaration target. No challenging matches left this season, so in a fit of boredom I went on to the TM to spend my cash pile rather than let it depreciate. Feel I've got at best moderate value at £2.1m for a strong/strong spinner, but I know I'll be able to at least recoup my money (since I'm certain there are players out there at least as dim as me ;)), so it's no worse than having my money just sitting around doing diddly.
