BARNES OUT
End of Over 5 (5 runs). Central Districts: 20-0, runrate=4.00 (1st Inn: 87-10)
Trail by 44 runs. (Flagstone Creek 151-10)
Simpson 3-1-12-0
Leeds* 6 (11 balls)
De beer 14 (19 balls)

itstl @ this game. Hopefully I don't lose too many wickets before the close of play, and I hope I don't make it to 200 before then also, because I'll declare. Looks like there's no chance of me making 3 days play though, unless Dylan and Munroe (my only two bats of note playing) make massive scores tomorrow.

Excellent, I should be able to make 700 here and press for at least first innings points, if not a victory

Last Wicket: Kerr c. Hlompho b. Chanderpaul 80 (FOW: 275/4)

I now have to win 2 reasonably difficult OD games and 1 reasonably difficult FC game to make sure everything goes smoothly. Could be a mere 3 games away from promoting to Div III in both FC and OD...

Excellent batting performance against the 2nd best side in my league.

End of Over 110 (1 runs). oz fans XI: 418-5, runrate=3.80
Whing 21-3-59-1
Dodd* 10 (14 balls)
Brooks 61 (113 balls)

Olowe made a century with both Livesy and Remaketse scoring half centuries. All my batsmen have passed 30 so far so a really good all round effort.

You won't get any more first innings points now. You'll get your 5 points for making 360 - from now on, you'll just be adding more runs and giving them a point if and when they reach 6 wickets, and then another when they get to 9. FC points in Battrick follow the English FC Championship, not the Sheffield Shield...

Oh, and PY, how the hell did I ever beat you :p
Haha, who knows mate, who knows. But you did. :)

Nah, there isn't that big a gap between our sides at all. I expect to get beat most of the time in friendlies now. :p

Haha got bowled out by a bot with only two batsmen scoring over 20, both getting 150s. Ellis who scored a hundred against Jamee got a massive 11. Good times.

I know i was originally wanting an all-rounder but Malik the Sri Lankan international batsmen is on the market with 20 mins and no bids. Anyone else think its worth it?

im in trouble today but knew it was going to happen. playing the team coming first...he hit 4 - 487 dec and i asm 6 - 87..had him 2 - 72 early on but 2 big hundreds got him into a comfy position. need the 3 days for money but not sure if it will happen though. then onto a big one day game on friday.

Big game at the Neely Cutts Memorial Ground...and it's finely balanced.

I put Rickmansworth in to bat, on what I expected to be a cloudy day....to find it had turned sodding SUNNY!

112/3 at lunch, with both openers (BTR<20k) and one of their main batsmen (Piton, 57k) out. The other two of their big three bats are in right now...I need that 4th wicket, and I need it now!

UPDATE: Richardson and Lake gone, thanks to a superb over from Gibb, and they're 139/5 with one end open. If I get them out for under 200, I'll be absolutely delighted.

Well, it looks like I'm talkin' to myself!

Ended up bowling them out for 192, as Brooker cleaned 'em up to finish with 20-8-46-6. The quicker Hirst finished wicketless, which bodes well for my fragile batting lineup.

I'm happy with that -- 3 welcome bonus points, and I'll be hoping to grab a few more with the bat.

In reply, I'm 13/0 at tea -- McGregor's managed 13 from 10 balls, and Perry just 0 from 14!
