CW Battrick Cup

Dead Badger

State 12th Man
It is a fair point, and since the top 3 places are going to be decided by NRR, a pretty crucial one.

Edit: Maybe a fairer way would be going on head-to-head results between the top three?

See I stuffed up my NRR calc. Too used to the dappy Battrick way of doing it.

After calculating a bit, it seems like Jamee will win this any way I use.

Edit: The head-to-head seems fairest, actually.

So, so devasted about the loss really. Easy ratings win for me, without a shadow of a doubt and somehow we lose by nine wickets. Even worse when I had lost winnable OD Matches in order to play a full-strength, fresh line-up and then get smashed around. How 3000 bowlers take 5 wickets against players from 9000-13000 for forty runs, I don't know.

Full credit to Tamil Eelam, but I am just so sad and devasted. Has not been a fun few months at all for me.

Wow we haven't collapsed and Cooper unless I jinx him could be about to stroke his first big innings for the sixhitters.

That all seems to mean that the quarter-finalists are fixed:

Boggles
Cymru Gurgitaters
Magical Ponies
Scaly Piscine CC
Jaffna Jets
Asterix XI
Four Pillars and Poor Fillers
Jamees 999ers (progress on head-to-head net run rate: 999ers +0.37, CD +0.12, Beard -0.53)

Draw to be up here soon. No seeds from here on in.

Got rolled by Cymru. Professional performance from them. Surprised my proficient youth pull top scored for us - very pleasing and bodes well for the future.

Quarter-final draw (random.org again):

Cymru Gurgitaters vs Jaffna Jets
Boggles vs Scaly Piscine CC
Asterix XI vs Jamees 999ers
Magical Ponies vs Four Pillars and Poor Fillers

Rumours abound that Dwyer has bribed the air.

Any of the knocked out teams for a smaller tournament, just to have friendlies set up?
