Watching the Liverpool - Porto replay nowand after Milan Stepanov was penalised for the hand-ball. IMO it looked on the replay that Stepanov himself was fouled.

Barney Rubble

haha got to say, this pretty much rules him out of getting the england job, the FA would be fools to come within a mile of this guy, much as I like him and rate him as a manager, he's dead bent, make no mistake about it.
Yeah, I don't see it happening. He'd do a good job, but there's a reason West Ham are the biggest club he's ever managed.

At least if he was England manager there'd be no possible way he could be involved in any dodgy transfer dealings dragging the nation's name through the mud. Maybe.
Rubbish, he'd be getting passport applications through quicker than David Blunket's nanny.

Ballon d'Or likely top ten apparently:

1. Kaka (Milan)
2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
3. Lionel Messi (Barcelona)
4. Didier Drogba (Chelsea)
5. Andrea Pirlo (Milan)
6. Ruud Van Nistelrooy (Real Madrid)
7. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Inter)
8. Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal)
9. Robinho (Real Madrid)
10. Francesco Totti (Roma)

You'll never get consensus and could argue forever about the exact order and personal favourites included/not included, but in the end I don't think there's a lot wrong with that list at all. Good to see a mix of the established veterans (Ruud, Totti, Pirlo), the enigmas who have begun to flourish magnificently (the Drog, Zlatan) and a collection of sublime young talent to lead the next generation forward.

Arsenal sublime, tbh. Villa lucky to still be in it, yet they are, and the Arse aren't looking that great at the back.

In other footballing news, I'm disemboweled :(
