The selectors have gone ******, Sami and tanvir are noway 4th and 5th best fast bowlers in the country this must be so demoralising for some of the youngsters.

What a Jaffer of an innings by Wasim, he is classy batsman who has done well against every test attack in various conditions his consistency has been a problem though. Anyways Tendulkar also is approaching his 38th test ton, so lets hope he gets over his nervous 90's syndrome this time around.

Kaneria bowls SRT for 82. Really poor shot even though it was a good ball by Kaneria. I think it would be one of the biggest understatements to say that Pakistan needed that wicket.

Whatever it takes!!!
Pretty much the first ten tests of his career have been a failure as far as batting is concerned. He has had a few good tests in SA and England but he can't continue on those forever. I think he deserves one more test but if he fails again he has to be dropped. Frankly Karthik has been incredibly lucky to be picked as a specialist batsman when he averages only 33 at the first-class level. He is only 22 and if he is as good as his supporters claim he should be able to make runs in domestic cricket and come back.
Things change and going by your logic, Yuvraj should be nowhere near the test side.... He was picked when he wasn't quite ready as a batsman and thrust into the international scene... Failures are to be expected, tbh... Now he has reinvented himself as a batsman/Keeper rather than the other way around... He is going through a lean patch, his first since he came back to the side... Surely, you need to show a bit of faith in the youngsters you pick, esp. when he has been your leading run scorer this year, before this series.. IN any case, with the side winning, it gives you that much more opportunity to give players in bad form an extended run.....

Karthik might have done decently as a test opener before but lets be honest he is not a natural opener and he was just brought in the side as a makeshift arrangement, so a guy who has opened all his in domestic cricket should be given a chance ahead of Karthik because i am not in favour of having makeshift test openers, opening the batting in test cricket is a specialised job.

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
India strongly placed. Really happy to see Jaffer and Tendulkar among the runs - two players I have backed for a fair while. Jaffer is some one who has the reputation of getting big scores at the first class level - some one who isn't satiated with just 100 and he is showing the same in this test match. Awesome stuff from an Indian point of view.
