Trav sign him mate, we need the depth in our pace attack especially if you or Collins are playing Tests this season. Outside yourself, Collins and Dunn, I don't think we even have another specialist seamer.

This is true. We're a bit light on in that department at the moment. Definetly worth a look/think.

Manan, swing by the blue thread and say hello if your keen on showing interest in playing with Blue in the future.

Of sophomore players, would teams please state who they will not be re-signing for next season. This should be done within the next 12 hours or so, roughly. Very soon after that, the free agents (including rookies) will be listed for clubs to talk to.

Sriram first rookie signing

CW Blue would like to announce the signing of rookie G Sriram for a two year deal.

Sriram has impressed in the recent offseason cricket for American club Washington, where he took 36 wickets from 8 matches at a tad over 18 in four day cricket as well as 14 one day wickets at an impressive average of 23.

CW Blue newly appointed captain Travis Demeza recognised the youngblood as a great option to add some serious depth to the bowling options at Blue. "He's a great addition to the squad, happy to have him onboard. - Commented Demeza

"CW Black, and Blue were the only ones in contention, really.", said Sriram, surprising quite a few people in the Blues conference hall. He went on to say, "And Black's huge roster really put me off them."

When asked about his immediate goals, this is what he said. "I have the opportunity to fill a few gaping holes in the Blues' squad, and I'll try my hardest to make sure I keep my gametime intact, even if the roster expands."

Either way, it seems Sriram is glad to be on board the Blues train.
