BARNES OUT
for the love of god - 1 primary, 1 fielding
You realise you'll never get a bid for Lee at that price, right? You'd be lucky to get a bid at that price if he had equal or better cons, let alone 4 levels below his primary, with prof stam and at the ripe old age of 26.

The other trainee looks good, but I don't think Soares is really worth keeping, only feeble keeping. He's 21 so he's too old to be trained. Maybe you should look for a med batsman with at least feeb keeping.

well, tbh, on other occasions i've placed optimistic prices out there and received bids, so i can't see what harm doing this will have.

Good stuff -- it's like a drug!

There's no way I'd be training Soares as a keeper...or anything else, for that matter. He's too old and too low-skilled. You really should be able to pick up a 17/18yo with Mediocre WK (and possibly even Feeble+ batting) for practically nothing.

Two pops for me today -- Fish in stamina (Competent) and consistency (Proficient). By the end of the season he'll be ready for full 1xt XI duties -- he's too knackered for FC right now, so I usually end up leaving out a Wonderful WK with Quality batting. This is a Damn Shame.

My season is starting to go downhill fast. Lost my FC match after leading by nearing 200 with 10 wickets in hand going into the last day. Went from 1/126 to all out for 197. Then they chased 323 in 52 overs.

In my OD League match I played a 2nd XI side to rest my main players for the CW Cup. I not only lost the game but got absolutely smashed. They scored 312 and then rolled me for 79.

Pretty much have no chance of staying up in FC, so I'm just going to play a 2nd XI side for the rest of season in FC. I might play a full strength batting line up in home matches so game last three days. I still have a chance of coming 2nd or even 1st in OD, if I can get a couple results go my way. But only going to go all out in OD to make sure I finish in the top 4. Only six points ahead of 5th spot.

I had one pop with my 17yo AR poping to mediocre conc, making him a prof/med bat. He should pop in bowling and cons in a couple weeks. He's coming along nicely apart from his PFLs. His PFLs are No 2 ATM. He might get up to moderate (5) by Sunday, so he might play in my CW Cup game. Even with moderate PFLs he has to be better then mediocre bat

Lol, this is getting ridiculous.

Really should pull him back to just the one primary net, right?
Looking at his stamina I would guess his on 1 stamina, 2 batting and 1 fielding. Depending on how far off superb stamina, I would drop the stamina net for a while and give him 2 batting, 1 fielding and 1 keeping. The other option would be to go 1 stamina, 1 batting, 1 fielding and 1 keeping. If he is close to superb stamina. I guess it depends on how many nets you have for him.

well, its over :(, so i can officially enter the cw cup, woohoo.

And that's the end of the match. Team Monster won by 179 runs.
Team Monster 281-10
Whenuapai CC 102-10

at least i can sort my pfl issues out now. yay
I would rest all your 1st XI on Sunday, got to think of your OD and FC league first. Your going to lose our CW Cup tie anyway. :p

PFL looks pretty good so may play him in my FC match in an attempt to get a draw off the league leaders. Playing on a flat pitch, I'm gonna fill my side with decent batsmen so I have a chance of taking batting points and getting the 4 for the draw.

All going well in the world of The Gurs. Won what, barring slip-ups, will prove to have been the OD league decider, against Aquantra CC on Friday.

Cymru Gurgitaters 253 A/O (49.5), Noon 121* (129), Greening 53 (54), Jeffery 36 (60)
Aquantra CC 180 A/O, Carlton 6/31.

That leaves us top of III.7, and fifth on the promotion table for Div.II. I don't think my side is anywhere near ready for Div.II, but It'd be an adventure.

Had tasty GFI ratings of Sens/Strong/Feeb - Qual/Strong/Med.

Not quite as good in FC, only clinging on to 4th spot on bonus points or something, having rested a lot of players. But if I can go up in OD, stay up in FC, and repeat last season's CW Cup semi-final appearance, then I think you could safely say I've had a good season!:-)

One Pop: Waiting for Staveley to hit Wond bat, so I can give his net to my Resp/Feeb 17YO quick, but he's dragging his feet.

Joe Noon (444923)
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, strong batting form, superb bowling form, energetic
A steady player with respectable leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Plays For: Cymru Gurgitaters
Nationality: England
Age: 23 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 74,607 (+1186)
Wages: £13,509 p/w
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: quality
Batting: quality Concentration: *exquisite*
Bowling: worthless Consistency: proficient
Fielding: worthless

Rapidly becoming my most consistent, if not my best batsman. Always seems to be good for fifty, though I'd say Greening (Sens/Qual), and/or Staveley, (Rem/Qual), are still more likely to get the really big runs.

Later, Trev
