Depends on where the match is being played. Oram will pick up wickets in a Test Match at home but only 1 wicket per game overseas. However he is more economical as Richard said in that he goes for under 2.7 runs an over, therefore creating partnerships with the bowler from the other end so that the strike bowler can pick up wickets.

He's way better because he can swing the ball at right angles at tremendous pace.

No contest, I fear. 400 runs from Kallis² + Amla, and Steyn will take 20 for less than that even without the aid of any order of Kallises (Kalli?)
