Well I have the temerity to not rate him 2nd-best after Bradman, yes, which is a crime against humanity to some people. 8-)

But this is not about how I rate players - it's about how much I enjoy watching them. I doubt I'd have enjoyed watching Vivian Richards much either, of course, but you never know.

Stuffiness has nothing to do with it.
Richard, if there was anyone good to watch EVER, it was IVA

His personal opinion is in contrast to Richard's...not much else in it tbh
Nah, Social was implying that it was some sort of fact that IVAR was a good batsman to watch. There is a difference between stating an opinion as an opinion and stating an opinion as a fact.

tbh it pretty much is fact that Sir Viv was good to watch. 99.9% of cricket lovers will tell you that

Hmm, that may be true (that 99.9% of fans liked watching him), but that still isn't fact. It's a common opinion, but not neccaserily (sp?) a right one.

It's not. To say "they were silly to find that entertaining" would be churlish.

"Being entertaining" can NEVER be fact. Entertainment is in the eye of the beholder. It's pretty poor to put across that what is entertaining to oneself should be to all.

If you can't enjoy the majestic batting of Sir Viv then there's no hope for you :p

Suppose not, but to suggest he wasn't is pretty churlish
No, it's having an opinion that isn't different to the majority.

Pretty much just the same as Prince EWS and Trevor Gripper. The majority of people wouldn't like to watch him, but I'm sure Prince would.

Would you like watching Richards, Perm?

I like watching Richards - I wish I had seen him live. But I love watching Kallis - and I'm glad that I've had the opportunity to see him live.
