Can't - I'm at work. On a sidenote, although you still won't be able to get through to me while I'm at work, I use Yahoo! a lot more than MSN and you can now add Yahoo! IDs to MSN... so feel free to add loony_bob to your MSN as a Yahoo! ID and you should be able to reach me a bit easier. ...when I'm not at work. Yeah. :p
I have you on my MSN at your yahoo address

Solid session for us. Cumming and Vincent have batted with their wits about them and we're in a strong position and should look to build a good total after lunch. :)

I have a feeling this could be one of Craig Cumming's most important knocks, at 32 and with 8 Test caps to his name he needs to go on and show us he can hack it at this level. The 38* is good but clearly he needs to go on with it.

He's on 38* ;)

That is most certainly included in one of the things we should be doing every game, yes.
Seriously, I know I'm a big Lou fan but he does bring a certain attitude to playing the game that people like Papps lack. He's looking to go on the front foot but not being silly about it. He's not handing over the proceedings to the bowlers either. He keeps it in the balance and you always feel that anything can happen with Vincent at the crease, rather than an inevitable collapse.

Yeah, he plays with urgency, which is most often his downfall, but he's a good guy to have in the team. He brings a lot of energy and he can have a big influence on games if he comes off.

I'm actually worrying about our bowling now. It doesn't sound like the pitch will take much spin, so I doubt Vettori will tear through the line up. Martin should be good for 3 wickets at least. Gillespie on debut may be nervy but I'm backing him to get a few. O'Brien is the clear weak link. I don't think this attack can take 20 wickets.

Anyone who thinks Vettori relies on spin to get his wickets hasn't been watching him for many years. :p I'm sure he's capable of getting his standard 1-3 per innings through guile alone if he has to. I'm confident in this because the other bowlers certainly won't be taking them by the bucketload so Vettori will get many chances. :(

I do hold my hopes, though. Mabye Martin can pull off something special.
