Whatever it takes!!!
Not sure if this was the best time for Warney to come up with this suggestion. The suggestion itself holds some merit, but not a lot... Because as others have pointed out, it takes away the focus from the game itself, it creates needless pressure on Murali and there is no way people will be convinced simply because (as Richard pointed out) there is the "he knew he was being tested" line for those who wanna doubt him.
Social may believe that the Warne factor has nothing to do with how people perceive Murali down under but it is simply not true. It NEED NOT be the only reason but it is definitely a major reason... And no, he didn't change his action too much over the years, so I am not sure when his action was "shocking" when he bowled in Australia.
And for the record, Lillee's record was broken by Hadlee and Kapil only broke Hadlee's record... So I am not surprised that Aussies were not too fussed about it..
