Jack, what's happening with Matthew Innes these days? He looked like a gun when he was at the academy.

Matthew Innes (the batsman - only one "s") had a rookie contract about two seasons ago. He started off really well, and probably would have been playing some 2nd XI cricket until he had some hip problems and an operation (or maybe even two), and lost his rookie.

Then last year, he just didn't have a good year at all, and ended up in his club's 2nd XI. He's moved clubs this year and has started off reasonably well. Plays around his front foot a bit, and gets out LBW to the inswinger. Great fella though, and he'll end up alright.

Pomers has gone mad and raced past 150 in 199 balls (seven sixes as well).
Looks like a very talented batsman and if i am not wrong didn't Langer or Voges ( i can't remember who exactly it was) predicted at the start of the season that Pomersbach would do big things this season, so he is just justifying that statement.

Does Jimmy Maher really dislike Daniel Doran or something? For a specialist bowler to only bowl 11 overs out of 130 must be pretty bad for his confidence.

Matthew Wade will be gutted to fall on 95.

Maher does use Doran pathetically in general, but Queensland do have quite a large number of allrounders in their middle order to utilise.

I have a funny feeling that Doran may look to seek pastures new somewhere else at the end of the season.

Doran's actually from Victoria, I believe. Was only playing sub-district cricket (sort of like Shires in NSW, I think) here, before heading up to QLD.

Was mucking around playing for Tweed Heads for a while before he got picked up to play in the QCA for Gold Coast and then Queensland. For the unaware Tweed Heads is on the border of NSW and Queensland where the GC is.

Yeah i think Maher treats Doran pretty poorly and as Warne once said spinners need to be treated with a lot of love and care by their captains but Maher doesn't even seem to care much about Doran, if this continues i can see Doran moving elsewhere.

Ryan Le Loux is a quality batsman. If they're not bowling Doran then I don't see the point of picking him.

Kruger hit 180 yesterday in a partnership with Carseldine (156). They should both be playing for Queensland at the moment instead of Broad and Love.

Le Loux scored a triple in Grade earlier this season aparently.

Pomers is a gun. Carving up at the start of his career. Already averaging over 50 in FC cricket, and that's not including his ton against the Poms.

Well Doran has bowled 15 overs for 104 - Ronchi racing to 69 in 43 with seven sixes!

EDIT: He's raced to 86 with nine sixes.

EDIT #2: Make that 92 in 49 - Three sixes in a row off Doran.

61 off the last 13 balls Ronchi has faced.

Simpson also in Queensland side, so I really don't see the point of Doran in the side if his not regarded as front line bowler.
