Is this the same as the elbow injury he had before?

I think I read they'll release the 12th man to play for his state anyway, so Hilfenhaus will get to go back and play some cricket which is good.
Yes, he said he felt some discomfort in it after the Shield game against Tassie. The good news is that it doesn't sound too serious and just sounds like a little twinge...Something that he'll have to rest for a little while. Perhaps he was rushed back too quickly?

And it's good news that Hilfy will get released to play for his state...But I remember the days when 12th man was still considered an enormous privelege! Gives the chance for some young, up and coming players to come on and field occasionally though. Remember Ryan Broad catching Strauss last year at the Gabba? Classic!

Lee will definitely move up to number 8 to replace Warne though, which he should've been doing for a while IMO. Johnson will just be a pretty good number 9, and with Clark at 10, it should actually be a fairly decent tail.
And MacGill, while not a big run scorer, has certainly proven in the past that he can stick around and create a decent partnership when it counts. So yeah, decent looking batting all the way down.

MacGill is classic... misses the balls outside off stump but hits the balls on the stumps

Vaas, like Warne and Akram, could have gone down with a much better batting record than he currently has.

Remember Vaas almost winning a test for SL vs Aus

Over 72.3: FOUR!! Three in a row, this time Johnson around the wicket and Malinga drives back over his head!
Over 72.2: FOUR! Malinga again, this time behind point off Johnson's bowling!
Over 72.1: FOUR! Great shot from Malinga, rocking back and smashing Johnson through point!

Seems like it will be a good series, hopefully Sangakarra will be fit.

Sri Lanka are finding it dificult to score runs and Australia are struggling to get wickets.

QLD 4-51 chasing 142

Roofers on fire 3/22. If Sangakkara fit it looks like a toss up between Prassana and Maharoof for the No 7 spot. Pretty dire but both have put in so far this tour when other more talented cricketers have put in half hearted efforts.

Thought you would like that.

Queensland 6/101 now. Perren trying to slog his way to a victory now it seems. Under rated batsmen and IMO future Queensland captain, unless they do an Adcock and give Nye the job.

Will be a great one if Hogg plays.

Not sure what the keeping depth is around Queensland, considering an average 25 yo grade keeper batsmen replaced him when he was injuried it must not be high. But really his got to start scoring more runs soon, especially if a half decent keeper batsmen moves to Queensland to push for FC spot. He hasn't score many runs since his first season for FC cricket. Lucky for him they have so many bowling all rounder it hasn't been noticed.

It might just be too much keeping, batting and captaining when his still trying to establish himself as FC cricketer.
