Disagree With The Above or if you agree it is Agree With The Above.
Ok then, well what was it that was disagreed with, that Kallis is not a team player? Or that he is already a Great? Or that he's not even a great?

I know many SAffie fans are frustrated by his inability or unwillingness to change his gameplay and adapt it to the situation, which is why his stats are a lie. Just like the cake is a lie.

This isn't worthy of starting a new thread, but I'll post it here.

Has anyone heard about Cricket Australia's 4 strike policy?

You'd think after the Cousin's/John's incident, Australia would want to be more ruthless.

Someone in the AFL circles said 3 strikes is too much and Hayden suggested a two strike policy; 1) Gets caught - rehab 2) gets caught - goodbye

A lot of sports have a 1 strike policy, test positive and your suspended, if your B sample is also positive and then face getting a two year ban. I would support that instead.

Phurt, Bradman scored 2k more runs in less tests.

Hayden is the interesting one. 89 test career, 27 100s. That's his whole career. Phenomenal.
I meant a century every three tests duh.

EDIT: or maybe it was every three innings, I don't know.

1. This is for recreational drugs only.
2. This is out-of-competition testing, which is outside the jurisdiction of WADA.
3. If any players get found with recreational drugs inside their system on a match day, then it's a ban straight up.
4. The players legally don't have to be tested out of competition, they are volunteering to do this.

Am sick and tired of this being misrepresented. Also, you get a 40 day ban after the second strike, unlike AFL where it's not until the third strike that your name is released to the public.

Whatever it takes!!!
so when ppl compare Murali to Warne it WILL be held against him ..that his record in Aussie is poor

(Although he can improve this series..just like Punter can nextyear)
sure, but the sample space is too small when compared to Ponting in India, isn't it?

That's why I referred to it as "series". He had a horror tour where he kept on getting out before he ever had the chance to get in. That happens to people sometimes (see Greg Chappell, Mark Waugh), and often there's not all that much you can do about it. It's still an obvious blemish in his record, and he's had other chances to rectify it and never done it. However, it isn't "choking".
I don't think that word can EVER really be put in the right context when it comes to cricket, though.....

How many hours are you behind Australia when it comes to the Ford Ranger Cup? WIth Daylight saving, to watch Tasmania play New South Wales it would be like a 5am wake-up call?

yeah, day matches in Australia will start early morning by our time here in India.

But day/night games are great, they follow the same timings as day matches held in India..

Tassy going off against NSW atm. Marsh grabbing a well deserved century, whilst Birt made 70, and Bailey 65 at more than a run a ball. Great bowling from Hauritz in the middle of all the carnage though, went for just 35 from his 10 overs.

Haddin is the only chance for NSW now. Hauritz is still a gun one day bowler though, he always has been.

Does anyone else see Haddin's career taking a very similar path to Gilchrist's?....Spotted for his big hitting with the bat, and now he's developed his batting to the point where he's almost worth a go in the national side on the basis of his batting alone....I know theres still probably 5 or so batsman ahead of him in the race for a middle order berth, but he really has developed superbly since the time of his first ODI in 00/01, I honestly think he's just about as good a batsman as Gilchrist was just before his test debut in 99.

Haddin is so gun, NSW 9/274 and he's still there with 138* off 113. Next highest score is 39.
