Whatever it takes!!!
Benaud.

but tough on Tony Greig, I feel. His energy is always an added bonus in the commentary box, even though his views may not always be gr8.

Quarter Finals: Battle Three

Nasser Hussain vs David Gower

The Form Guide: Hussain had a very tough route to the Quarters, overcoming Michael Holding in round two 17 votes to 16. Gower, in contrast had an easier time against Pommie Mbangwa in round two and Jim Laker & Jack Bannister in round one. Will Hussain still be exhausted from his battle against Holding?

Nasser Hussain

Playing Career: Fell 4 short of a hundred test caps for England, leading their resurgence in the early 21st century as Captain; finishing with a slightly disappointing test batting average of 37.18
Commentating Pedigree: Took up residence in the Sky Sports commentary box shortly after his retirement rom international cricket; and has been a permanent fixture ever since.
Other: * Both his dad and brother have also played first class cricket

David Gower

Playing Career: An elegant left-handed batsman who enjoyed a successful test career for England in the 1980s.
Commentating Pedigree: Made the jump into commentary soon after his playing retirement, becoming an anchorman for Sky Sports' cricket commentary.
Other: * Took a short trip in a Tiger Moth airplane during a warm up game on a tour to Australia
* A team captain on BBC quiz show "They Think Its All Over" until he realised it was getting crap and jumped ship.
* Advocate for African Wildlife

For: Nasser Hussain, my favourite commentator of the moment. Insightful, without being dull. Doesn't labour his points, either.

Gower's okay, but is probably lucky to make it this far. Lightweight.
