Players who got figured out

The last one was:
Perm, you and Richard are the two biggest ****s on this site, both trying to piss on my farewell.
The comment about me was misinformed to say the least.

This thread proves beyond doubt that hardly anyone bothers with my sporadic historical adventures. What of William Cooper?

Damien Martyn was at times showed up, i remember a tour of australia by the kiwis were they placed at least a cover, cover point, and point to marto and bowled an off stump or just outside line to him especially in ODI's and his runs practically completely dried up

Someone who immediately comes to mind is Saqlain Mushtaq, a pioneering off-spinner whose over reliance on the doosra led to him being figured out and disappearing from the international scene altogether.

He was overbowled by his county Surrey and then also suffered very serious knee injuries. You're right in that he did overbowl his doosra but he still ranks as probably the best ODI spinner ever.

It is. Glad you think so too.

Repeated abuse of other posters. His ban will come to an end fairly soon and I'm assured he'll return.
Really? Assured by whom? Our Fiery is enjoying life on a.n.other forum these days, you may not see him again. Entered forum folklore by making 62 posts on his first day. :) I would tell you where it is, but people get banned for less.

Oooh you tease. I'd like a nice verbal joust with Fiery, or at least another chat about pre-90s NZ cricket. Shame he's gone.
