Yep. That's what I voted too.Australia 1-0, Murali to pass it. 10 wickets (currently on 700) in two tests should be doable.
Australia to win 2-0 but I'd imagine that Murali would take the nine (or ten?) wickets to overtake Warne - as in reality he'll be bowling 40-50 overs each test you'd imagine?
Their batsmen aren't as effective in away conditions as they are at home though. Maybe even the most advantaged by home conditions out of all the subcontinental team's batting lineups. Although they do have classy batsmen like Sangakarra and Jayawardene who can score in all conditions.Just quietly I think people are underestimating SL here - Murali, Vaas and Malinga is nothing to laugh at. Plus a few quality batsmen make them a very formidable side on their day. If Australia are complacent they may get quite badly stung.
Right, you're on, if JASON complains, you change Perm's avatar; if he doesn't, I change it.Warrants an avatar challenge IMO.
Not to mention Atapattu...Their batsmen aren't as effective in away conditions as they are at home though. Sounds fair.Right, you're on, if JASON complains, you change Perm's avatar; if he doesn't, I change it.
(In case you need some translation - that's I don't think he'll complain)
totally agree 100%, we always seem to play murali well, in tests and ODIs.No way. Aussies to win 2-0, and at least one of those by an innings or 300+ runs. I don't see Murali getting that many Aussie wickets in Australia.
I'm sure when (if) he does break the record the crowd will give him the standing ovation he deserves, but the rest of the time he's gonna cop it lol particularly given how big a deal the media keep making of him being targeted.A prediction I am hoping that will not come to pass and I am expecting mature crowd behaviour and common decency by the overwhelming majority of Aussie fans to get rid of poorer elements in the crowd.
