6 wickets for Kartik! I feel so good for him; always rated him. He's bowled really well in this series but has been handled poorly by the captain IMO - good to see him get the rewards today.
Indeed, at an economy rate of above 5. I feel both of those statistics would be a lot better if for a few things:
* He didn't spend the first half of his career with Patel/Dravid behind the stumps - the amount of missed stumpings that cost his wickets and later runs early on was amazing
* He wasn't only brought into the team when India were getting absolutely smashed
* He was handled better by the respective captains he played under and not used as an after-thought
Still though, numbers are numbers and he's had a very poor ODI career. Good to see him get rewards today for his good bowling nonetheless.
Wow, are you seriously the worst poster on this site? You've just received honor of being the third person ever on my ignore list.Blah blah blah - blah.
if its swinging for a while ...we'll win
Agreed. Australia certainly are not done. Though I would say India are favorites, I don't think it will be a big win. It'll go down to the wire IMO, and Australia can certainly pull it off.
Saw one delivery of the innings between running in and out, happened to RP Singh's monster wide. Was awesome.
Top effort from India and Kartik, wouldn't rule out Australia yet though.
Sorry I'm not a yes man like everyone else on this site.Wow, are you seriously the worst poster on this site? You've just received honor of being the third person ever on my ignore list.
If I was an Indian fan I would have really wanted Dravid in a chase like this, esp with run rate not an issue. Seriously, a disgrace he was dropped, imo, can't get over it.Agreed. Australia certainly are not done. Though I would say India are favorites, I don't think it will be a big win. It'll go down to the wire IMO, and Australia can certainly pull it off.
Mate, he hasn't been dropped, he's been rested...If I was an Indian fan I would have really wanted Dravid in a chase like this, esp with run rate not an issue. Seriously, a disgrace he was dropped, imo, can't get over it.
Probably not who you'd think. Don't want to get in a stink over it, so I won't say .SS who are the other 2 on your ignore list mate?
Agreed. Though I can't help but like the fact that he won't play ODIs anymore, if it extends his Test career. But forcibly dropping your best player is ridiculous. If I was an Indian fan I would have really wanted Dravid in a chase like this, esp with run rate not an issue. Seriously, a disgrace he was dropped, imo, can't get over it.
According to cricinfo:When was the last time Australia was all out for less than 200 in an ODI before this inning?
That was the series where Hussey was captain right?According to cricinfo:
It came in Wellington against New Zealand in February 2007, where they made 148 (batting first).
**** me you're dire. Fair enough a bit of bias, but you really are shocking. Ashamed to say we support the same team.Yeah, wait until the series is over and when they'd rather be elsewhere.
