Richmond got Jordan McMahon for pick 19. Hmm, sort of lukewarm regarding that. Hope it works out.

Got Michell Morton from WC too for pick 35.

So we only have pick 2 from the top 30. This draft better suck like they say.

King and Gardiner for pick 90. On face value, it's a terrible trade. But we're struggling for salary cap space, especially with the bonuses for All-Australian. We've also ensured Gardiner a home next year, which he may not have got if he were delisted (which he probably would have been). Plus we get pick 90 to use on Larry Donohue's kid for the father son selection, which (I'm guessing) is a lot higher a pick to use for that, as we only have to use our last selection for it. Better off using pick 90 than a pick in the 50s or 60s.

Hadley was a gun - then he's been out for a couple of years and the game, and Brisbane's team and plan, have moved on a bit. Interesting to see how he goes, hope he makes a go of it - if nothing else, so we get another chance to chant "Hadlee's a wanker"

Hadley a gun? Surely you guys arent talking about the one from Brisbane? He only got pick 52 for a reason.

Before those two knee reconstructions, he had more talent than any of the youngsters at Essendon now. Unfortunately, as Matt said, he fell out of our plans. Would have loved to have kept him though.

Those two knee reconstructions aren't something to be glossed over too quickly either. Its a rare player who regains all of what they were after two knees...

Dont be stupid.

I could name at least 10 of our youngsters off the top of my head who are more talented thasn him pre injury or after it.

I personally don't think he fell out of our plans, otherwise Matthews wouldn't have been so forthcoming to the media about his disappointment in seeing Hadley go. He was most certainly a gun pre-injury, and imo he will prove to be a very good player for the Blues now that he's got an injury free season under his belt. Bear in mind, this pre-season will be his first in 3 years where he'll be injury free.

Man, Hudson is such a huge loss. Bit surprised they deslisted Torney too, he had a reasonable year. Guess he's not the youngest though.

Who have the Crows got in terms of Ruckmen now?
Haha, nobody. Lost Meesen too, who was the most promising of the young ruckmen. There's Griffin still, who's got some ability around the ground but isn't anywhere near good enough yet, and Maric who is just really mediocre. We picked up a ruckman from North though, Moran.

Cousins is a pillock. If he is found to have done something wrong I can only hope he is shown the boot (excuse the pun) and his registration for another club is also barred by the AFL.
