I was going to vote for an Australian ground and five years ago I would have. But going to the cricket at the Gabba has changed so much over the last couple of years that they have sucked the fun out of a day at the cricket. No noise allowed,but you have to sit through ear-splitting advertisements all day,no waves,no smoking,no barracking,no musical instruments,no banners,no 'hill',crammed into plastic seats with no knee room, you can't bring your own food or drinks (you have to buy the sponsors overpriced and rubbish products). It's like being back in school again. You can't even bring in your own drink trays, and submit to being 'patted down' before entry.
Does this go on in other countries Test venues? I cannot comment on any other grounds as I've only been to England and could not get a ticket for a match for love nor money,loved the Lords tour though.

There's good reasons for most of the above, TBH. The wave was banned as it'd become dangerous; smoking being banned is never a bad thing; musical-instruments and banners can be disruptive; and while having to buy sponsors' products and sit through ads is regrettable, it's pretty much inevitable. The restrictions on stuff you can bring in, too, are a sad inevitability of the times we now live in.

This is already the case at plenty of other grounds around The World and will only increasingly become so as the years roll on.

Lords ground is awesome for its drainage facilities.
