I was doing one of my wikiepdia searcha dnreads yesterday and eventually found myself on Smith's page.

He hasn't scored an international ton for nearly two years.

Actually, his last international century was on the 26th of February, 2006. His last Test century was on the 29th of April, 2005. He hasn't been in poor form though.

Herschelle Gibbs brings up his 50, couple of nice boundaries off Mohammad Asif.

Shame Gibbs couldn't push on. Kallis in the middle now, big point to prove to the selectors. Would love for him to make a ton.

Nah, him making a run a ball ton or better in a limited overs game would prove something to selectors, his Test performances were never in doubt.

Yeah would like to know if this is good batting, poor bowling or the pitch. I suspect the latter but nfi really.

Gibbs out.
The pitch looks very dead from what I've seen. The bowling hasn't been great but it hasn't been poor either.
