The Wheel is Forever
I'm a fat bastard, so I just concentrate on the beamer after I get tired (which, after some hard work at the gym now comes after I bowl three or four deliveries).

My Bowling...

I can bowl at a pretty decent pace tbh. About 60-65 mph. At first I started off very slow and was spraying it all over the place, never could get my line right. But after 3 years of solid U19 cricket in the Toronto and District League, I've improved quite a lot. I can generate a bit of swing at times as well.

Strengths:

Yorker
Control
Decent pace
Fitness (can bowl for extended periods of time without getting tired)

Weakness

Have a habit of bowling the short and wide ball at times, atleast once every 1-2 overs.
Can't bowl a slower ball, whenever I've tried to I've gotten hit for runs.
Not enough variations in my bowling.

My Batting...

Have said this before and will say it again, I am a carbon copy of Sehwag when it comes to batting. Opener. Clean hitter of the ball, if I see it I'll go for it. Limited footwork. Decent technique (am working hard on it though, to improve).

My Fielding...

Like Karthik. I am not the best of fielders, but I am not bad either. I'll make tons of silly mistakes in the field, but can and have taken some great catches, and have gotten some great run-outs as well.

Just a heads up on my cricketing abilities just in case this meet-up actually ever works out :p.

Try bowling an off-cutting/spinning slower ball. Unless you are really quick, just a normal one won't do much. Put an extra man around mid-on and mid-wicket and you've got a good chance someone will hole out trying to slog you. Once I lost pace (used to be 65 at worst, now 60 at best), I've been relying more on accuracy and variation.

What kind of bat do you use?

Hmm, yeah that's what I was told to do, bowl the off-cutting/spinning ball as the slower one. But usually I am not able to disguise it well enough.

Well depends really. I have this home-made/no name one which this premier division player in my club use to use but now gifted to me. It's an amazing bat tbh, it's so well knocked. But I also have an MRF, which I use a lot.

My bats are usually short handle, thin grip, and heavy/long blade.

I wonder how much of what Turd said is actually true? :p

Ask Fraz if you don't believe me :p. He'll have you know my club is one of the best clubs in the whole Toronto and District League (which is by far the biggest and best league in all of Canada, and 75 percent of the Canadian squad is composed of players from this league). I'll have you know Sunil Dhaniram use to play for my club and use to come and help out with our U19 practices at times. I've also gotten some tips from Umar Bhatti after one of my games, which he happened to be umpiring. Not to mention I've gone up against and played along side a few Trinidad U19/Guyana U19 players.

Well, seems like a great idea, besides for the insane distances though. I'm in Atlanta though, so any meet up would have to be Eastern seaboard, up to at most DC, and Canada is definitely out of the question. Cheers. :)
