Agreed, actually. He's rarely been a factor in any of his oneday games, so you might as well have Yardy or Dalrymple batting at 8. Obviously it hasn't mattered today, but Mascarenhas is batting too high and that will be a problem sooner or later.
I think Dalrymple seems to have gone downhill quite fast lately which is a shame. Someone like Snape would have been alright if he was younger. Going by stats I'd have to consider someone like Graeme Swann whether you like him or not.

Very well for mine,
He kept it very tight and he almost had a wicket once or twice.

Very impressed with Flintoff's comeback, he ususally seems to take a couple of games to get back into his stride with the ball but he was right on top of things yesterday.
Speedo had him touching 150kph :-O .....which if Im correct is actually quicker than he was even in 2005 Ashes.
