Hmmm, you are right Adharcric.

I went back and had a look at his figures and he is taking wickets at a regular basis. His avg. (30+ I think) is a bit high, but that would go for all the WI bowlers considering the Australian batting in the first 2 tests. In that case, Marshall, Ambrose, Holding, Garner it is!

Definately, but if we want to make this thing look realistic. Millers workload could be telling on him now after all these tests don't you think??. Given the historical account of his bowling & the nature of the bridgetown pitch he could be a real menace.

So as i said strengthen the batting by picking 6 bats, Keith 7 less reliance on his batting in this test, Gilly & the rest.

Ha, both sides are guaranteed to live Bridgetown with a few on the injured list..
I think that would make a WI victory more likely, so I'm not complaining! ;)

Even more so consdiering that

A. Barbados has traditionally been a WI fortress
B The WI are playing at home and so wood be more used to the lively pitch

Whatever it takes!!!
Great all-around bowling from the Windies, but poor Lillee, what an effort from the champion bowler. Key innings was another crucial partnership between Sobers and Lara which allowed the bowlers a comfortable margin to bowl the Aussies out. Also, kudos to Slifer and Adharcric for pushing for Garners inclusion, really paid off in the second innings.

Edit/ Thanks again for running this Adharcric. I am really enjoying this! :)
I put in a vote for big Joel too. :)

I would give Haydos 1 more chance, based purely on his efforts in Aus.
Warnie, I think he may be carrying a shoulder injury, I move to give him a rest for the final two tests.
Thoughts?
LOL, Warney's injured every time he gets walloped... Another thing that never changes.

On a sunny morning at the Kensington Oval, the captains are out in the middle. The Aussies will look to attack the opposition and clinch the series here. Here we go ...

Bradman has won the toss and chosen to bat!

For the Aussies: Hayden, Warne out. Simpson, Davidson in. The home side has dropped Roberts for an extra batsman in Weekes.

In English conditions, I'd back England. In Asia, I'd back India. Elsewhere, its a close call between Australia and the West Indies.

.......

Oh well, well done to the Aussies, and to Punter and DG.

The WI batting has really been a sore point, no-one apart from Hunte, and Lara, and Sobers have really put their hands up - and it is costing their side dear.

I believe WI won 3 - 1 in Aus? Therefore WI need to win the next one, to take the contest overall...
