How good was that finish?

When Port were 7 points down, the play that Wilson made whilst running down the wing which resulted in the ball getting to Motlop was brilliant. No one is talking about that, with everyone talking about Ebert's mark and goal in the dying seconds (fair enough too), but Wilson was amazing.

Gotta feel for Campbell Brown. Killed Ebert all day, and in the last play Ebert kicks the winner.

Jordan Lewis should have scored that simple goal with 2 minutes left though, and ensured Hawthorn couldn't lose.

Not getting all the hype over Lloyds goal tbh. Yes it was a smart move, but its not the great piece of genius people seem to be making it out to be. A good goal, but nothing great.

Nah Dark Hunter, I get what you're saying, but let's be honest here... when are we likely to see a goal like that again?

We go nuts over some awesome goals on the boundary, and for good reason because they're a great part of the game, but we see those fairly often as well right? Lloyd's goal was unique and bloody rare. Can't see it happening again, partcularly when you put the time left in the quarter into the equation.

And me saying this hurts because I don't like Lloyd too much.

Pretty pleased with today, great effort to fight all the way and not get blown away. Percentage is crucial. Need to eliminate the patches where we fade for about 10 minutes and the opposition really punish us, it's probably just inexperience. Still a big key forward (Thommo) and a good, solidly built full back away from a flag, IMO. We'll make the prelims and I'll be happy with that.

Win our last two (Blues and Dogs) and we're pretty much guaranteed 4th, btw.

100% agree. People going waaay over the top with the 'goal of the year' claims. I mean, he kicked a ball through his legs from 1m out, why all the fuss?

Exactly...heaps of goals are kicked from that distance out in a pack, he just happened to be facing the other way, and smart enough to kick it backwards. If it had been one of the usual slow, dopy forwards, for example, Gherig, he would have tried to turn around.

Well, the race for 8th is looking like its going to be fun. If Saints win both their games, they've got it. But if they lose one, which is most likely (West Coast), whoever out of Adelaide, Brisbane or Essondon wins both their games, has it. We play Adelaide next week, so the loser of that is basically out of it. I can see us beating geelong tbh. Last week of h&a, they'll be thinking of the finals, might even rest some blokes, and its at the gabba. We ran them close at SS, so I reckon we can do it.

Same here.. very under-rated player.....Nigel Smart was a gun.Hated him after the 98 grand final for a while thou.

I've tipped Hawks this week... if the trend continues than they should lose this week.
Every time i tip them... they lose and when i don't they win.
I'm tipping the Hawks for rest of the season.

Kangroos played alright but were beaten by a superior outfit.

Essendon vs Richmond is going to be freaking huge. Can't wait to see the champ playing his final game in Melbourne. Will also be good to celebrate what Sheedy has done too.

AWTA, people have been comparing it to similar bumps, and players only getting 2-3 weeks, but he had the time to move, didn't, and tucked his elbow in as well. Hope the appeal gets thrown out.
