Gotta love Anil getting a ton, always great when a tailender manages to get some hefty runs IMO.
Never expected him to though, top stuff to the fella.

thank god i didn't see today's play it must have been horrific viewing.

Don't think Warne will be too pleased with the performances of his former fellow test #8 rivals in Vaas & Kumble over the last few months, they both have test centuries now..

Is it India's fault England can't keep its players fit. Face it this, atm, is the best team England are able to put on the field, and this atm, is the best team India could put on the field. I am tired of the "depleted bowling line up" excuse, it's not at all India's fault England doesn't have fit enough players, and those that are fit aren't good enough.

Would England be in the same position? That's what was being said when India racked up tons of runs in the last test, batting conditions were the same for England in the 2nd innings, yet they couldn't produce the same amount of runs, cuz face it our swing bowling was too good.
Look Turb, the thing is, if we get a draw out of this match then I will forever remind you that rain made it a series win for you guyts and it was 1-1 in all reality :p

Nah mate, the thing is you CAN only beat the side that's there, no ecuses with regards to injuries from this end. I think Flintoff/Hoggard would have made a difference, but then again, so would Jack Hobbs and Geoff Boycott, so that's that. BUT a second choice England bowling line-up isn't world-class, so I think people are just saying keep your feet on the ground, not because India don't deserve this series win but because it doesn't make you world beaters, yet. Hell of an achievement though, coming to the home of sport and winning :p

Dhoni is a bloody idiot. He is doing the same thing he was doing at Lord's. 48 ball partnership, Kumble has faced 34 of them. Utterly ridiculous.

And another single of the first ball!!!!! Looks to me like he is going for a not out.
Kumble's average is half of Dhoni. It's not just a matter of being 'one down', its the difference between a specialist bowler and a batsman.
Time to just start random hitting by Kumble. No one now is going to stick around.
lolz.

Nah seriously, that's crazy. Saw the headline on Cricinfo of "Kumble century puts India in charge," and just had a laugh.

you laughed, I cried :(

Nah, fair play to the guy tbh, always been one of my favourite non-English players.

From one diehard hardcore fan to another... Don't worry atleast you have the ODI series to look forward to, where you know we won't rack up 600 something runs against you :p:p.

Haven't seen much of the game but, judging from the card, India look to be in decent touch with the bat. Bodes well for a competitive series in Australia hopefully. I'd love to see a signature ten hour vigil from Dravid this summer.

Kumble, what a champ and a real nice guy too. Very pleased he got it.

Well played India, 2-0 is a deserved result.:)

England are crumbling and in disarray...

Rain and Vaughan's inability/lack of inclination to make his bowlers to get through more than 8 overs an hour tbh... Serves England right itbt. :p
