Broncos were struggling to make the eight with their regular 6, 9 & 1 TBH.
I don't think so. 5 from 5 at the right time of the season, says otherwise.

I still thought we could win the comp without Lockyer, but without Lockyer, Hunt and Berrigan, it is going to be very tough. Maybe if the injuries had of occured in round 3 or 4, but not rounds 20+. However, Bennett is a master and if anyone is to coach the remaining players to a Premiership it will be Bennett.

The Bronco's have no chance unless Hunt does something extraordinary if and when he comes back.

A draw was as good as a win for us today. Either way we'd be in 11th place after this round due to our for and against. Magnificent match though, really proud of our lads. The finals are still reachable, particularly with the Broncos not playing too well and the Tigers looking vulnerable...

These games are getting good now that some of the better teams are playing each other at a desperate time of year.

Warriors-Roosters was a great game, so too Eels v Dogs, and Manly v Eels the week before.

In the serious departmet, they simply have to let the video ref tip to the on field bloke re. stripping in tackles, lost balls, etc. Just madness.

Went to the Dogs-Parra matach, and I'm an Eels fan. Quality game. Must say that I have thought SBW was over-rated in the past, as I don't think he's done that much. Having seen him play for the fist time live, I'm happy to admit I was completely and utterly wrong. He is one of the best players I've seen play live, and frankly, if he didn't play Parra would have won by 30.

Morrin's a clown and should not play again this season.

the broncos should just bite the bullet - give joel moon a run at 7 and see what he can produce as cheif playmaker.

SBW is an absolute tank, seen numerous shots of him walking around the dressing room without a shirt on. He's that stacked it makes his head look out of proportion.

Yeah as a Broncos fan it's not much fun seeing so many of our star players out injured. Add to the list Carroll (neck) and Hannant (shoulder), both will likely miss this weekends game against the Storm. Even though Perry isn't flash, I think with the injury crisis he needs to be there. I think it's time to give Moon a run at five-eighth just to give him some more experience in the top grade in the position as Locky isn't going to be around forever. Word is that Hodgo will most likely play at five-eighth this weekend.

7 or 6 for Moon. I'd rather stick him at 7 simply because once Hunt is back in the fold (he's back soon right?), Hunt would have to play 6. Perry is serviceable, but without Lockyer and Hunt, the Broncs have no creativity and pretty isn’t that. Plus giving Moon as much first grade experience as possible will pay dividends going forward.

Anyone catch the first part of the ABC doco ‘South Side Story’?

I thought it was fantastic. Definitely the most compelling thing on telly all year.

Hunt's out for another 3 weeks.
