Fantastic VNRL player tho.Had to smile at this:
The latest incident adds to a long list of off-field indiscretions at the Bulldogs this season, most of them involving star back rower Sonny Bill Williams.

You know your luck is out when a cop catches you having a slash in a side alley. The latest incident adds to a long list of off-field indiscretions at the Bulldogs this season, most of them involving star back rower Sonny Bill Williams.
Yeah, gotta agree with this. I'd say just about every guy on the planet (including most cops) would've had a back-alley slash while on the drink. It's a rite of passage. You know your luck is out when a cop catches you having a slash in a side alley.
I mean, what are the chances?
AWTA, Murphy's caught you doing it imo. Didn't watch or anything, just called you a **** from the top of the alley then walked off.Yeah, gotta agree with this. awta.Go you mighty Roosters!
People whinge about the reffing every week, near enough every game, and they have for years. I'm getting somewhat sick of it really, as the reffing wasn't any better last year or the year before - and it's not going to get any better unless the rules are simplified or technology is used more (which would really stunt a free-flowing game like league).Good win for the Roosters, but how ****ing terrible was the reffing from both sides POV. Shame to see diving becoming a part of league now, happened on 2 occasions in the final 10 minutes imo.
Agree with you completely about the reffing mate. And it is every game we hear about it...It's starting to get on my nerves a little too. Personally I think the problem is the rules are so open to interpretation which is why we have so many varying opinions on referees and if what they did was right, or wrong or not. But yeah, the refs are doing their job, and all the teams are in the right places on the ladder in regards to how they've played overall this year, so I don't think there are great grounds for criticism of referees.People whinge about the reffing every week, near enough every game, and they have for years. Anyway, neither team deserved to win the Tigers-Roosters match tonight IMO - pretty dire from both sides. Marshall at halfback is turning out just as I expected. As for the Roosters, they have certainly played like a top eight team in the last few weeks (well, a circa-2007 top eight team anyway) but whether they are playing well enough to keep it going is another thing though. I thought they were poor tonight ITBT and if they play like that again for the next three weeks, they'll get done. I'm backing them in though - I'd like to see another team playing (relatively) quality football make the finals ahead of the Cowboys.
And in regards to Marshall, he wasn't even playing at halfback most of the night, he was more in the centres and on the wing...not sure what he was doing there.Agree with you completely about the reffing mate. And I don't think we (the Roosters) played badly at all tonight. Certainly looked on the ball for about 60 minutes. In fact, the first half was magnificent footy from both sides for the most part. We fell asleep for about 15 minutes in the second half though, trying to defend the lead rather than scoring. But yeah, considering where we were 5 weeks ago, to just make the 8 would be an achievement in my books. Anything from there is a bonus.
