***Official*** India in England

I think a sentiment like that is always echoed in a test series fought between close teams which England and India are here. India could have done better in the first test had Pieterson been out early or they didn't get the sun when they did (though Pieterson did do the gritting out before the sun came as well). Another reason why I hate that it isn't a 5 test series. Could have rocked so much more.

Regarding the bowlers - Anderson and Tremlett seem big positives. I am very impressed with Anderson.
Anderson wasn’t too hot in this test, swung the ball but he lacked the killer late swing he got at Lords, meaning his full length was far too inviting. If The Oval is it’s usual self he could get some real tap.

Right. Yeah, I haven't been able to watch this test. I do like what I see though.

Haha that was hilarious when they showed that leg-glance that Jaffer played, and it rolled right next to what looked like a red jelly-bean.

Still waiting for someone to tell us what Hussain was ranting about :).
Sky interviewed Moores after the match, who said that the batsmen need to look to be more positive in tough batting conditions. Hussain then proceeded to have a rant about how that was all wrong, and that batting in tough conditions is about surviving until the conditions are better or the bowlers become frustrated (or changed). It was a gun rant really, and I agreed with every word of it.

Yes, I agree with it. Look and KP in the first test. Batted through the tough condition to reap rewards later.
