The Wheel is Forever
Twice.....you aren't Brett Lee...your bouncers aren't going to worry people.
Not really, as i said everyone has weaknesses, unfortunately for the bowlers most of these weaknesses aren't fatal (which Collingwood's isn't) and they can't do much about it.I'm not denying that fact, it's just a fact that eventually, when everyone realised what his many weaknesses are, he'll get owned by all bowlers.
Full credit to him today though, gritty innings under pressure, hope he can make it to 100.
Is that you Richard?I've never really rated Collingwood as a Test batsman tbh, even when he scored that 200. Obviously he's a decent player, but I seriosuly hate watching him, and he has so many flaws in his technique that usually means he is dropped 3 times before reaching 50. I'll replace the word dire with ugly/lucky/boring.
India by a country mile.Hmm, who has had luck on their side in this test? England or India?
The question should be who has had luck in this series ?Hmm, who has had luck on their side in this test? England or India?
Unfortunately, that's not my question. The question should be who has had luck in this series ?
Not anymore tbh.India by a country mile.
I know. England have had their fair share of luck but they have not been able to take advangae of it. So I say it is about even at this point.Unfortunately, that's not my question.
India's obscene luck helped them get to an absolutely dominant position, England's occasional bits of luck is keeping them in with a very slight chance of winning. Without luck being in it England wouldn't have had a disadvantage batting first might have made 250-300 with Cook/KP staying in (instead of their crap lbw decisions), India might have made anything froom 250-400 instead they had the opening pair making the luckiest century partnership on record with that taking the pressure off, wearing the new ball etc. So it could well be have been only like 60-40 in India's favour, instead it's more like 95-5 in India's favour, England's occasional bits of luck have stopped it being 99.9-0.1 in India's favour - but that extra chance is nothing compared to India's extra chance. Even with the bits of luck you've still got things like Vaughan playing on.Not anymore tbh.
Well I reckon that I've seen around 95% of his test innings and I can't remember one innings where he hasn't been dropped, missed an inside edge onto the stumps or something like that. The same can be said for Pietersen as well and a few other players.I do love how people throw that up, complete guesswork without any proof or evidence whatsoever.
There goes England's chances of winning this series. Absolutely pathetic not beating this lot at home.
Well it wasn't reverse swing, and the ball is 15 overs old...would have to be some tampering...That Prior ball was so good i'm suprised no one's suspecting ball tempering, absolutely unplayable no matter how good you are, Prior can't be criticised for getting out to that.
