Vaughan played one of the best innings I've seen in a while tbh, his straight driving was immaculate, a really cruel way to go. Feel sorry for Ian Bell though. Collingwood playing dire as usual, can't believe no one has sorted out the problem with his right hand dragging through the line at every chance, especially when driving.

TV replays have just shown that Sreesanth shaped a limp kick at Collingwood as he ran past after the first ball. Nothing serious but he does do some odd things. Like Andre Nel but without the physique.

God, I hope you're on Dravid's last nerve....

Didn't know that was being formulated. Hadn't been in the General Sports Forum in ages. I needed time to recover from the Mavericks' exit. Thanks for the tip, will do.

Bit harsh don't you think?

Most batsmen have faults that are quite obvious and get them out a lot (look at Strauss for instance), i don't see how Collingwood deserves that when he's not out 47 and shows a lot more fight than some of the batsman in this team.

I've never really rated Collingwood as a Test batsman tbh, even when he scored that 200. Obviously he's a decent player, but I seriosuly hate watching him, and he has so many flaws in his technique that usually means he is dropped 3 times before reaching 50. I'll replace the word dire with ugly/lucky/boring.

Runs on the board are all that matter though, no matter how ugly you get them. That's why Collingwood>>>>Bell at this stage and Hayden>>>>Vaughan

I'm not denying that fact, it's just a fact that eventually, when everyone realised what his many weaknesses are, he'll get owned by all bowlers.

Full credit to him today though, gritty innings under pressure, hope he can make it to 100.

Mmmm, i don't mind watching him when he gets going but yeh he does look pretty poor when he's not in top form.

I'm concious that that may make people under-rate his acctual performance though, as i think he has played some great innings for England's under pressure whereas someone like Ian Bell seems to only score when the going is easy.

Colly's 136* was one of the top innings for England in a long time imo, and seriously under rated.
