How is not being able to make it to your crease comparable? It would be similar if Brian Lara , in every other series, randomly couldn't get to his crease.
He's done it twice. If he starts doing it every series, that'll be fair enough. As it is, though, that you manage to get something schoolboy-error-ish wrong occasionally doesn't matter if you do your job well for the most part.

Whatever it takes!!!
Two wrongs don't make a right. Fanatics appear in most popular elements in sport. Look at Man U, Schumacher. We have it in Bengal (which is, agreed, a smaller region compared to the whole India) with Ganguly - people who are blind Ganguly fans. I encounter them so much here. That doesn't mean that I have a right to react weirdly. Both aspects are wrong really. :)
well, at the risk of this becoming my new punchline, I only said it is understandable, not justifiable. :)

Haha. You honestly feel that Sanz gets wound? For other people maybe, but not where Sanz is concerned. He is a far too intellegent guy to get wound up on such stuff. He just flames to bait more than any thing at times in his debates. Given his intellegence, I always find it an immature thing to do.

yeah, to be fair, I think there aren't many (if any, in fact) such sachin fanatics here at CW. But it does bug me sometimes in real life.... It is often kinda annoying that guys who don't know the LBW rule start telling you that everytime SAchin gets hits on the pad it is not out either because a) it didn't hit him in line or b) it stuck him on his front foot or c) it stuck him on his back foot or d) there was just too much doubt to give such a great player out.... I mean, FFS, if you can't give a guy out LBW when it hits him in the front foot or the back foot then when else can he actually be given out LBW?

Anyway, we're gonna rack up a massive total here and then skittle them tomorrow. You heard it here first folks. Strauss to ton up (Y)

Haha. The media plays to it as well. I found our local newspaper showing Tendulkar's photograph on the main sports page (he was just 57 not out at the end of the day) when they should have put a picture of Karthik and Jaffer yesterday. :)

Not in Test cricket tbh. You can' t just show up and be unable to bowl. How many times do you see other bowlers doing that?

Lol, collapse soon imo as long as the Indian bowlers don't lose the plot. Sticking with my innings win call from a hundered pages or so back.
