Lack of depth in bowling attack at FC level and a lot of bowling all rounders in all sides.First five wickets: 174, 126, 66
Final five wickets: 125, 211, 244
What... the...?
Jonkman impressed me in the WC, even though he was fairly ineffective. Definitely something to work with IMO - could do with more muscle though to get his pace up a bit though - he reads a lot slower than his action suggests he should, which is never good.Crash to 225; the 33yo Panchal got four wickets in the second innings. Jonkman ended with only three in the match, still rate him tho...
Yeah, that's what I'm referring to. At the World Cup, he was bowling around 120-125 most of the time, and his action and run up really suggets he should be a bit quicker than that.Prince EWS, what speeds was Jonkman bowling at?. At the WC when I watched the fastest he was bowling was late 120kphs (78-79mph).
me too think the sameYeah, that's what I'm referring to. At the World Cup, he was bowling around 120-125 most of the time, and his action and run up really suggets he should be a bit quicker than that.
Nah, he'd played an ODI against Bermuda in August. Then he rejoiced in figures of 8-0-68-0.Big win for Canada - an innings and 228 runs. Welsh took 12-93 in the match - his first wickets in first-class cricket, in his second match. I wonder why he wasn't in the WC squad, not eligible then perhaps?
Why is this still sticky? Just curious....judging the skull atm. Any nominations anyone btw? Send to the cwawards@cricketmail.net if soGreat bowling display from Welsh.
Cos the tournament will run till late 2008. Next match is in four days with Scotland v Netherlands at Aberdeen. Why is this still sticky?
