Thirdly, India better not **** this up. Fourthly, the weather better not **** India up.
Would have to laugh if it did, though, TBH.

Would love nothing more than Tendulkar, Ganguly and Laxman to get plenty, then for it to rain on Tuesday after Strauss, Cook and Vaughan had batted well on Monday. :)

The Wheel is Forever
The over/under for the Indian innings is set at 435.5. If they get near that, I think it would be excellent. I am still not convinced though, and if I were not living in US (and unable to bet) I would be very tempted to take the under.

Bumble is pretty gun. Great to see India forging a good opening partnership, Sachin will be looking to push on to a century tomorrow.

You spent 5 minutes (or so) writing that?

Bumble, as he does sometimes, said something funny, in answer. Along the lines of (probably) these guys' most famous line:

You were on "posting reply" for ages.

I always wait around whenever I see a high-quality poster in the middle of posting a reply, see. ;) 'Tis why I prefer people, especially good posters, not using invisible.

India has defeated Bangladesh in the final of the under-19 tri-series in Colombo. The 17-year-old Saurav Tiwary (Bihar) made an aggressive 86 and Assam seamer Abu Nechim Ahmed took 6 for 9 to bowl the opposition out for 70. Looking good for East Zone.

I just can't believe why Ganguly was sent in with only couple of overs remaining, thank god he is still there. Tendulkar what a gun, with 11000 test runs, total legend.

Who would you have sent out? Good on Ganguly for doing his job as a batsmen properly. Also in 1 overs time the new ball will be taken, so I think it's a good move having him there rather then picking a Kumble type player who if he gets out early gives England confidence for the day.

I also think having Laxman at 7 and Dhoni at 8 (if the nigh****chman can in) is a waste.

You are worrying about tomorrow's play, had Ganguly been out before stumps last night then quite obviously England would have had the confidence to start with so i think its ridiculous that a batsmen came out at the close of play. Yes it was a brave decision from Dada but it could have definitely been a bad choice by team management.

What odds would you give for Ganguly getting out within his first 10 balls? India are on the attack and are in a positive position, leading by almost 60 with 7 wickets in hand, even if Ganguly was out, 60 in front with 6 in hand is still a fantastic position.

I think the mindset of not losing needs to be changed to winning for your side to become more successful and I actually applaud Ganguly for going out there.
