Am in Australia and would love a friendly.

Team name is Brackenhurst.
Sorry, I already had a friendly. I went to challenge the team I had planned a friendly with, and it said he already had one arranged. It turns out I had challenged him already earlier.

Scaly's top seven or so all seem to be within a few levels of each other, with no obvious stars. He might be trading in those two for a standout batsman.

Na can't get enough money to get one of those exquisite+ type guns. Just getting someone decent in that'll take some of the batting load away from my all-rounders hopefully.

Julian Owen (50092)

LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and respectable experience.

Plays For: Phils hotspurs
Nationality: England
Age: 23 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 176,898
Wages: £50,415 p/w

Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: remarkable Concentration: elite
Bowling: worthless Consistency: superb
Fielding: remarkable

Aiming to have him fill in a top order berth for a while. The wage will cancel out the extra interest, but I need bats that can average near 100 rather than those that average 50 or less - which is what Packer, Obrien and Tawanda will do. Also I wanted some nets free and a bit of flexibility to exploit the market.

Tawanda is my weakest bat by fair bit, then I've got a Packer, Obrien, Dillon and Preece who are similar strength on paper but with different primary/secondary balances then there's Wheat (about to be quality-miraculous) and Armstrong (remarkable-elite) who are a fair bit better again.

It's pretty late in the season, so any player that you make would only have a few weeks of training before he gets one year older (meaning he would train at a slower rate). You'd probably be better off waiting for the new season to start and then making 2 or 3 in consecutive weeks.

Well they could easily get a full ITS pull in now and still get back to 100 ITS before the player aging.

But whether it's worth it when the market at this time of the season is usually pretty drab for YPs is anyone's guess.

Haha, great news to report. Ranjeet Bhutia has continued to make inroads to the U19 competition. On the 24th of July, he captained the Indian U19 side against England and notched up a solid 23 (39). Not satisfied, the next game he went on to make 40* (71) and take 1/36.

Look upon his works ye mighty and despair.

Shared a very valuable 69-run stand with the Citizens' Chanderpaul, I hear.
